Will Davies

Film workshop instructor

Will Davies is fellow director of Whalebone Films. He has filmed in over 25 countries and relishes the opportunities which filmmaking offers to visit and learn from people and places around the world.

Prior to filmmaking, Will was a sociology teacher, before attending the NFTS to study sound recording. Will largely works on Whalebone’s corporate and charity commissions, using his skills as an educator to make films that are clear and focused in what they convey.

Will also co-directed Whalebone Films’ recent creative outputs The Long Haul, The Climate and the Cross (The Guardian), The Bold Fisherman (BBC) which have gone on to receive great festival success, having screened at London Short Film Festival, Meet the Press Film festival in Washington DC and been part of BBC Arts’ Culture in Quarantine series.
