Radio-On-Sea is a week-long audio retreat for women, non-binary and gender queer storytellers in Hastings, East Sussex.

A 5-day long retreat for people wanting to break into the radio industry, or who want to further develop their skills as a radio maker. You will learn both the art and craft of making a radio documentary, and by the end of the 5-days will have made your own short radio documentary the help and guidance of skilled teachers. All equipment will be provided.

We see the retreat as not only providing you with essential skils to be able to make fantastic radio-documentaries, but also a chance for you to focus on your artistry, connect with other creatives, and have a break on the beautiful Sussex coast. We will provide you with fantastic accomodation overlooking the sea, and delicious local food.
